	Senior Pastor - Dr. Don Paxton Pastor Don Paxton is entering his 16th year of ministry here at Rosedale Baptist Church. Prior to coming to Rosedale Pastor Don served at a sister church in Bristol and prior to that served as Senior Pastor in Cooper, TX. Pastor Don holds advanced degrees from the Criswell College in Dallas, TX and Bethany Theological Seminary in Dothan, AL. Pastor Don also currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and was reappointed to a second 5 year term. This is a great honor not only for Pastor Don, but for Rosedale as well. Pastor Don is passionate about evangelism and expository preaching.

	Youth Pastor - Wesley Stringer Pastor Wesley Stringer is entering his 8th year as our full-time paid Youth Pastor at Rosedale. He spent 5 years prior as volunteer and bi-vocational youth pastor and teacher.Through personal study and dedication Pastor Wes has become a regionally recognized authority on Creation studies. Pastor Wes is quick to point out that the Lord burdened him with the need to teach our children and teen agers biblical Creation. Pastor Wes is also regional coordinator for the SBCV disaster relief efforts and has answered the call to Greece, Haiti internationally and has served here at Glade and in Kentucky for their ice storms several years back. Pastor Wes points to Psalms 68:5 as his ministry verse to youth. "A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows,Is God in His holy habitation. Psalms 68:5 (NKJV) Wes also works very closely with our childrens ministry AWANA and is active in other community efforts as well.

	Minister of Education - Charlie Fugate Pastor Charlie Fugate is a lifelong member of Rosedale and has recently been brought on as Ministerof Education and Outreach. Charlie is studying at Liberty University majoring in Religion and considers his time at Rosedale to be an extension education in ministry. From sermon preparation to his first baptism to preaching his first funeral while at Rosedale, Charlie has been preparing for full time ministry for the past three years under Pastor Don's tutelage.A little known fact about Charlie is that he received a letter in a varsity collegiate sport while attending Emory and Henry College. Charlie served as Student Assistant baseball coach and manager of the football team. Charlie is passionate about seeing souls come to the Lord and about expository preaching. Charlie invites everyone to come out on Monday evenings to go soul-winning.

	Mission Pastor - Erik Hinchey Pastor Erik Hinchey called to Ministry and Licensed in 1995 at Rosedale Baptist Church in Abingdon VA Graduated From Southeastern Baptist Theological College in Wake Forest NC in Dec. 2000 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biblical Studies Ordained by Cornerstone Baptist Church in December of 2000 Served as Associate Pastor and Director of Student Ministries in Wake Forest NC, Bristol TN, Dalton GA, and Lebanon VA. With attendance ranging from 30-160 attendees Served as Ministry Director of OutBack Ministries from 2002-2005. This was a youth camp ministry to underprivileged teenagers that was staffed by a board of Youth pastors from 4 states. Average attendance was approximately 200 including both camp staffers and campers Currently employed by and serving as the Chaplain of The Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Current member of Rosedale Baptist Church in Abingdon, and work closely with youth pastor and with the student ministries. Married: Brenna Minton Hinchey in May, 1991 Children: Colby 14 Emily Grace 9 Elizabeth Faith 5 The family currently resides in Abingdon VA."
