Rosedale Baptist Church Women's Ministry seeks to mentor women of all ages through the Word of God based on the Titus 2 Model which says:
Teach the older women to live in a way that is appropriate for someone serving the Lord. They must not go around speaking evil of others and must not be heavy drinkers. Instead, they should teach others what is good. These older women must train the younger women to love their husbands and their children, to live wisely and be pure, to take care of their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. Then they will not bring shame on the word of God.
It is the strong desire of our leaders, Becky Eldreth our Women's Ministry Coordinator and Teena Paxton our SBCV Women's Division Coordinator, to help the women at our church realize and use their gifts to glorify God, enrich our community and bring others to Christ. They, along with other women in the ministry, seek to mentor, counsel and encourage women as they grow spiritually. We have a "come as you are" attitude and work to provide a loving place of fellowship where women can develop friendships and have a sense of belonging regardless of age, background, or spiritual maturity.
Rosedale Baptist Church is a family of believers committed to sharing God's love with everyone we come in contact with and providing a strong church family based on fellowship, service and outreach. The Women's Ministry extends that commitment to the women and families at Rosedale Baptist Church to develop a sisterhood of redeemed women seeking the will of God for their lives and the lives of their children.
If you are looking for a place where you can serve, develop close relationships, feel important and welcome, grow in your faith, receive mentoring and counsel, and reach others for Christ then Rosedale Baptist Church is the place for you and we hope that you will join our church family and the Women's Ministry!
If you are a woman struggling to make sense of your life, feeling empty, unsure of your future, unsure of your faith or just curious about God we hope you will join one of our Bible studies or Sunday School classes so you can meet folks, get to know the Word of God and share in a love unique to the family of Christ.
